At Harvard, the arts have always been alive all around the campus! Consider the long history of the Harvard Advocate, Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra, and Hasty Pudding Theatricals. Survey what architect James Stirling called “Harvard's architectural zoo,” from the neo-Georgian Fogg to the high-Victorian Gothic of Memorial Hall, to William James Hall and the Carpenter Center. This tour celebrates Harvard's architecture and the arts in all their many forms. Move over Chickwich! Harvard food service is NOT as you remember it! Get an inside look at the steam tunnels Crimson Catering uses to service the River House dining halls and learn about the progress Harvard has made in running efficient, environmentally friendly kitchens; accommodating various special diets and allergies, using locally grown foods; and appealing to sophisticated palates as well as nutritional needs!
